FREE on the CD are also more than 30 town- and walks- maps in A4 pdf format, suitable for printing out on your colour printer.

 CD2: the maps on CD-ROM

the maps on CD-ROM” includes more than 100 small maps – of towns and walks – in pdf format. Each map fits on an A4 sheet, so you can print it out in full colour on your printer at home.

About half of these maps are available as free downloads, but the free maps include advertising which is not included on the CD.

Beyond the Cederberg

 

Our second full-map CD includes jpg images of the front and back of our popular Cederberg map version 3.1 (NB this is NOT version 6.1). The front includes the map itself, while the back includes details for more than 120 places to stay in this very popular touring area.

FREE on the CD are also a dozen or more Cederberg town- and walks-maplets in printable format, plus fourteen TrueType fonts with more than 1300 images of the rock art of the area.

Our third full-map CD includes jpg images of the front and back of our popular TABLE MOUNTAIN map version 7.1 (NB this is NOT version 9.1). In addition, the historic versions of the map in ISIXHOSA - the first map ever to be published in that language - and in Afrikaans, are included.

BUT THERE’S MORE ... by popular demand we have also included Peter Slingsby’s historic 1974 version of his Table Mountain map, not only as a complete image but also broken down into convenient A4-size chunks, for easy home-printing ...

AND MORE ... the absolutely historic 100-year old 1908 MCSA map of Table Mountain is there too!

The map itself is out of print and will not be reprinted any time soon in its present form ... but to satisfy demand we’ve put both sides of this best-ever map of Hout Bay and the Constantia Valley Winelands on this CD Rom.

Many tourist maps available in South Africa are printed and produced overseas.
